Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and BootSelf AI for your use of BootSelf AI. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
The service
BootSelf AI provides AI-run practice interviews, feedback reports and reviews of career materials such as resumes and profiles. It is a practice and self-improvement tool. It is not a hiring service, and no result, score or report guarantees an interview, a job offer or any outcome with any employer. Company-specific guidance is based on publicly available patterns and is labeled as typical, not official.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate information. Keep your password secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.
Plans, billing and renewal
- The Free plan has the limits shown on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- One-time passes (such as the Interview Sprint) last for the stated period and don't renew.
- Prices may change; we'll tell you before a change applies to your next renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may be added where required.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it; no automated scraping; no uploading malware or content you don't have the right to use; no using it to impersonate others or to cheat in a live interview or assessment; no reselling access.
Your content
You own what you submit — answers, code, resumes and other materials. You give us permission to process it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. We don't use it for anything else without your consent.
AI output
Questions, scores and feedback are generated partly by AI and can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment; don't rely on them as professional, legal or career advice.
Our rights
The service, its software, question content and design belong to BootSelf AI. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Ending your account
You can delete your account any time from settings. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) continue after termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
